After many years visiting Carrick & Teelin it was my first time staying in the Carrick Gate. Really fabulous place to stay, large rooms, beautiful breakfast and fantastic staff. Close to all the sights to visit in the area, highly recommend for anyone visiting Carrick.

Modern bathroom, very clean, comfortable bed and chairs, spacious. Very quiet. Thoughtful information table and kitchenette for guests. Very responsive and communicative about my reservation and information for my stay

The owners were welcoming and friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was superb. And it’s just a stone’s throw to Evelyn’s Central Bar where the craic is mighty.

The house itself is lovely, full of character, the room and the view from it was stunning. The location was also fantastic. Lucy, the owner was very welcoming & most helpful. It was wonderful. Will be back!

V nice renovation- love the bright modern feel

Some boiled eggs on the buffet would be nice and a box of tissues in the room.

The property was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The room was spacious and had a lovely view. Absolutely loved our stay and couldn’t recommend it more highly.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
The pub next door finishes dinner service at 6pm. We missed this by about 15 minutes and the other pub a short drive away was booked until 8.30pm. We had picked up some goods at a market in a small village earlier in the day so we happily sat in our room and ate that, but it’s definitely something you will need to consider!

Can't fault our stay in Carrick Gate. Continental Breakfast was lovely, as was our room and the Facilities in general

We like the location in the heart of the village and the ease of dropping in there whatever time of day, maybe for a change of clothes etc
